We are presently in the Advent season which precedes Christmas.Advent is a Latin word that means coming.The first quote from Luke relates the account of Our Lord's first Advent as a baby.The second passage from Acts speaks of a time that is to come when Jesus returns,His second Advent. As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Our Lord and all that it meant,we as true believers should also eagerly await and prepare for His return.
